Home Organizer / Relocation Coordinator
DwellWell is a boutique lifestyle management firm based in New York City with branches in San Francisco and Los Angeles. We offer professional in-home organizing, relocation services, on-call personal assistants, and household management. We are currently hiring an EXPERIENCED professional organizer/relocation specialist for our New York City office.
A large part of our offering at DwellWell is residential relocation management. We offer white-glove service and pride ourselves on delivering a seamless hands-on moving experience to our clients. This entails orchestrating and managing all details of the move, from start to finish including the creation of innovative, eco-friendly and design-driven organizing solutions to meet the needs of our discerning and demanding clientele.
We are looking for an experienced organizer with relocation experience who can hold the the big picture while managing the myriad details of multiple projects. Our ideal candidate is service-oriented, understands the needs and expectations of high-net worth individuals and has the maturity and confidence to provide an effortless, organized moving experience.
Home Organizer / Relocation Coordinator Responsibilities include:
- Coordinate all aspects of client relocations, including logistics and communication with service providers.
- Develop personalized relocation plans tailored to each client's needs.
- Provide support and guidance to clients throughout the moving process.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Maintain accurate records of client interactions and progress.
- Address any issues or concerns that arise during relocations promptly.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to enhance service offerings.
More detail on the position:
- Meet with clients in their home to assess their relocation and organizing needs
- Create proposals for projects that will meet the client’s scope and budget
- Manage client relocation and organizing projects from start to finish including timelines, budget, purchases and vendors
- Work one-on-one with clients, helping them to prioritize goals, make decisions, and sort through their belongings in a supportive environment
- Oversee team members, movers and others to ensure a seamless move
- Get a client fully settled into a new home in an organized and timely manner
- Make product recommendations, and have a working vocabulary of organizing products available at The Container Store and elsewhere
- Design, source and implement organizing solutions that maximize the client’s space, are design driven, sustainable and can be easily maintained
- Be proactive in finding eco-friendly alternatives to plastic organizing products
- Take before and after photos to contribute to social media content
Additional requirements for Home Organizer / Relocation Coordinator include but are not limited to:
- Experience in client-facing roles with high net-worth individuals
- Proven experience in project management or related field
- Strong organizational skills with an extraordinary attention to detail
- Proven experience with relocation and professional organizing processes
- Intermediate computer skills, including: Google products, Dropbox, Word, Excel, Quickbooks, CRMs
- Proven problem-solving ability
- Ability to perform physical tasks (including some light lifting) and ability to stand for extended periods of time (up to 8 hours at a time)
- Ability to multi-task efficiently and prioritize tasks
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage time, work without supervision and complete tasks efficiently
- Proven ability to manage others, work independently and as part of a team
- High standard of professionalism and courtesy
- Proven ability to maintain confidentiality
- 2-3 years professional organizing and relocation experience required.
Our work is generally project based and therefore hours are flexible and always changing. We ask that you are available between the hours of 9am-6pm on days you are scheduled to work. We are looking for approximately 15-20 hours/week to start with ample room for growth.
Pay is negotiable based on experience.
